International overview

International Committee members : Ravi Joshi, Simon Kariuki, John Patte, Charlie Rolland, Des Newman, Arthur Capon, Larry Giofu board representative

Ray reviewed the grant formats in that a District Simplified Grant has a limit of $30,000.00 and has a 1:1 return rate on the money raised, and is much easier to apply for.
A Global Grant is for projects over $30,000.00 and has a return rate of
3:1 on the money raised. The application process is substantially more complicated, and can be quite a lengthy endeavour. From start to finish it can sometime take years to complete.
