The 5th annual "Slice of Life", held on November 29th, hosted 7 amazing speakers all sharing  their personal story as to living with HIV/AIDS. It was reportedly the “best yet”
The attendance was to the room’s limit and  all those “listeners” where touched and very engaged as this experienced this unique educational evening as it related to the many issues and challenges as to being "the one with AIDS.” For the first time in arranging this event Chair Joanne Ashley shared  why she has had this 20 year involvement with bringing the realities of AIDS to help break down barriers, and that is because her brother Bill, way back in the 90’s, died of this misjudged and misunderstood disease.
A reporter from SNAP was present and did a lengthy interview with Joanne and this in all likelihood is to appear at some time hopefully in the New Year.
