The Rotary Club of Whitby is a proud supporter of the Durham Region Hospice’s “Comfort, Care, Compassion” campaign. The club recently donated $50,000 towards the construction of a 10-bed hospice in Whitby near Blue Grass Meadows Park. Durham Region Hospice’s mission is to provide support, comfort in a caring and compassionate home-like environment to people and their families facing end-of-life illness. Rotary thanks the community for its support. Without the generosity of many this would not have happened.
